STEP 17 - GRILLED PINEAPPLE

So far, we’ve covered a good variety of recipes and tips when it comes to grilling main dishes—vegetables, meats, and a bit more—but we haven’t covered anything really out of the ordinary, right?

Well, our next two recipes are definitely a little OUT OF THE ORDINARY—but they’re so good, they’ll likely hit the top of your “To Grill” list in no time!

The first is for…GRILLED PINEAPPLE!

OFF THE GRID GRILLED PINEAPPLE RECIPE

• 3 tbsp. Organic Honey

• 1 tsp. Olive Oil or Coconut Oil

• 1 tbsp. Fresh Lime Juice

• 1 tsp. Cinnamon

• 1 drop Lime Essential Oil

• 1 drop Cinnamon Essential Oil

Combine ingredients in a small glass bowl, stirring well. Cut pineapple into half-inch-thick slices, and brush mixture onto both sides of each slice. Lightly coat the grill rack with cooking spray and place pineapple slices on the grill rack. Grill about 3–5 minutes on each side; baste slices once or twice until they are tender and golden. Serve while still warm.
