STEP 5 - START OFF WITH A CLEAN GRILL

Steaks, chicken, barbecued pork, shrimp, vegetables—whatever your preference, it’s hard to beat the unique, wonderful flavor imparted to your favorites by fire and steel, cooked outdoors on your own patio, deck, or porch.

Whether your grilling adventures are seasonal or year-round, you want your efforts to be crowned with success. And so it‘s important to remember a few tips before you begin grilling.

Getting your grill clean is an important way to start a successful grilling experience. There are several ways to clean your grill: while some prefer to scrape or burn off residue from past grilling sessions, it‘s a good idea to actually wash the grill racks to ensure that all food particles and bacteria have been completely removed. The all-natural recipe below will have your grill looking like new without having to use the harsh chemicals or toxins found in commercial products.

LIKE NEW GRILL CLEANER RECIPE
• 1/4 c. Baking Soda

• 2 tbsp. Castile Soap

• 7 drops Lemon Essential Oil

• Distilled Vinegar

Combine all ingredients except vinegar in a small glass bowl. Add in vinegar until mixture is the consistency of olive oil. Once combined, brush onto grill rack and let sit for about 15 minutes. Scrub with a damp scouring pad or grill brush and rinse off with water.
